Evaluation is the systematic assessment used to determine the value or
effectiveness of a program. Answering questions about program
effectiveness often require a variety of activities, which may include
any or all of the following: planning, design, data collection, data
analysis, reporting, and dissemination of results. Examples of CRC’s
evaluation work are described below:
Adequate Yearly Progress Intervention Evaluation: Designed a
standardized method for collecting information on each school’s
intervention and measure the effect of the program on the school, the
teachers, and the students. Guided data collection efforts from
stakeholders through interviews, focus groups, and online surveys.
Curriculum Delivery Evaluation: Designed and implemented an
evaluation on the effectiveness of a curriculum instruction approach..
Evaluation activities included data discussions with schools, online
surveys, data analysis on student outcomes, and teacher interviews.
Evaluation Coach: Worked directly with internal analysts on
several projects during which the staff member(s) needed intermittent
help with data collection or analysis. Provided on-site help as well as
over phone and email.
Campus Visit Program Evaluation: Designed online surveys for all
types of campus visitors and created an analysis plan based on timing
and type of visit.
Bar Preparation Program Evaluation: Analyzed the ways in which a
bar preparation program helped students pass the bar exam. Included data
related to attendance, academic performance, and student demographics.
